Are you going to be open in 2020?

Yes, we have taken a number of precautions to protect you and our vendors this year during the COVID-19 Pandemic. You may review our Market guidelines here.

Are Masks or Facecoverings required?

We are following the CDC guidelines and while they are not required for our visitors, we do STRONGLY ENCOURAGE the use of them to keep yourself and others safe while at the market.

Do you have Hand Sanitizer Stations?

Yes, upon entering and exiting we have Hand Sanitizer available.

Will Samples be available this year?

Yes, our vendors will have the choice to offer samples as long as the adhere to the Minnesota Farmers’ Market Assoication Guidelines.

Are there Pre-Order or Pickup options?

We are encouraging our vendors to offer Pre-Order and Pickup options if they have the ability to do so. You may review the Vendors to see who is offering these options.

Are Pets allowed at the Market?

Every other year, they would be, but for the 2020 season, we made the decision to allow only Service Animals.

Will you be offering Tokens this year?

No, we will not be offering Tokens this year.

Do you accept Credit or Debit Cards?

Yes, we are encouraging all vendors to offer no-touch and credit card transaction options.

Please note, while many of our vendors offer this option, not all do and cash will be still be accepted by those vendors.

Will there be music and other entertainment at the market this year?

Unfortunately no. We made the decision not to host activities that encourage gathering.

Onsite Logistics
  • There will be one entrance and one exit. This will allow us to limit the number of people who are allowed in the market at any given time so that we can all spread out and socially distance ourselves

  • Please Look for “enter” signs and follow the arrows for flow.  This will help shoppers/vendors stay 6 ft apart from the nearest person.

  • If possible, please only have one person per household come to the market at a time.

  • All pedestrian traffic within the market will flow in one direction so people are less likely to have to get close to each other. The loop will pass by each vendor stall.

  •  Please do not linger. We ask that you collect what you want and need and then exit as soon as possible. With limited access to the market, we need people to get in and out as fast as possible.

  • In an effort to limit contact, there will be no New Hope Market tokens to sue as cash at the info booth. PLEASE PLAN ON BRINGING CASH TO THE MARKET.

  • PRISM plans to be on site and will have EBT and SNAP support again this year.

Thank you for working with us to ensure maximum safety for our 2020 season. Hopefully in 2021 we will be back with live music, theme days, picnic tables, and fun for the whole family. But for this year, we must all work together to limit the spread of COVID-19. See you at the Market!
